Melissa received her BA in art education and BFA in performance art from the University of Northern Iowa. She worked for three years as the art teacher at Blessed Maria Assunta Pallotta Middle School and Columbus High School in Waterloo, IA. Currently, Melissa is studying at the University of Iowa to earn her MFA in intermedia art. When not making art, Melissa loves to go backpacking and travel to new places.
