The Iowa City Community String Orchestra and conductor Carey Bostian were thrilled to offer five Preucil School cellists the opportunity to serve as rehearsal soloists in our preparation for this concert. Adrian Bostian, Mathilde Brandenburg, Lee Prostine, Claire Sauder and Adam Zeithamel each had the opportunity to solo with the orchestra. The concert features Hannah Holman, the Quad-Cities Symphony's Principal Cellist, in a program highlighting influential women cellists from the past. The concert is free on Sunday, November 24, 2019 at 3 pm at the Englert Theatre. ...
