Registration is now open for the 2026 Winter Chamber Programs.

2026 Winter Chamber Program: 

  • January 17 – April 26
  • Open to all Preucil students in grades 3-12 who have completed Book 2 and above who are reading music at an appropriate level.
  • Adults who play at a minimum of an intermediate level may also apply
  • 10 weeks including concert (9 coachings plus concert)
  • Attendance is crucial to the success of the program. Groups must meet all together a minimum of 7 times in order to perform in the concert. Extended illnesses will be considered by coach and coordinator
  • Music is distributed in early December. Individual parts must be completely learned by the first coaching. Students should go over their parts with their private instructors.
  • Each group receives one coaching per week:
    • 30 minutes (duos) or 45 minutes (trios or larger)
  • Cost $175
  • Final Concert: Sunday, April 26 at 4:30 at Main Campus

2026 Advanced High School Chamber Program: 

  • January 10 – April 26
  • Open to Preucil Advanced high school students (Velay Certificate Program students are required to participate)
  • 14 weeks including concert (13 coachings plus concert)
  • Attendance is crucial to the success of the program. Groups must meet all together a minimum of 11 times in order to perform in the concert. Extended illnesses will be considered by coach and coordinator
  • Music is distributed in early December. Individual parts must be completely learned by the first coaching. Students should go over their parts with their private instructors.
  • Each group receives one coaching per week:
    • 30 minutes (duos) or 45 minutes (trios or larger)
  • Cost: $225
  • Final Concert: Sunday, April 26 at 4:30 at Main Campus

Concert dress rehearsals are Friday, April 24 from 4:30-5:15 at North Campus

Registration Deadline: Monday, November 3

 

Join us for a night of swing and jazz as our very own Preucil alum, Oriana Ross performs with her group, Bear Cat Hot Club. This event is free and open to the public and will be in Wilson Auditorium, 7pm Saturday June 7 at Preucil Main Campus.
