Maryanne Kirsh is joining the violin faculty this year. A student of Dr. Scott Conklin, Maryanne is a graduate of the University of Iowa in Violin Performance. She has received her Suzuki violin training from James Van Reeth, Ann Montzka Smelser, Martha Shackford, and James Hutchins.
As Maryanne begins the search for graduate schools to further her training, she will continue to pursue her love of teaching and the Suzuki method (being a Suzuki kid!) in a part time capacity. In addition, she will be helping with Crescendo Strings, PSSO, Chamber music, as well as special event planning at the school.
