Brady G’sell joined us last May as a substitute teacher for our Music Together® program. Brady is finishing her PhD in Anthropology and History from the University of Michigan. Her research in South Africa enabled her to live in a culture where music-making is a beloved part of everyday life. She has sung in choirs and theater productions and led summer music programming in Albany, NY. When she came to Music Together as a parent, she felt she had found a program that matched her long held belief that playful music making is pedagogically and socially important. As a Music Together teacher she now enjoys supporting families in joyful musical expression.

Brady was instrumental in creating the Music Together in the Parks music sessions in July and August of 2017, with help from her mother, Sue G’sell, and in collaboration with Music Together teacher, Lauren Willberg.
